European pillar of social rights

Framework of 20 key principles and rights, presented by the European Parliament, the Council and the European Commission in 2017, to deliver new and more effective social rights for EU citizens, and support fair and well-functioning labour markets.

The European pillar of social rights is structured around three chapters:

  • equal opportunities and access to the labour market;
  • fair working conditions;
  • social protection and inclusion.
