Cedefop may launch calls for applications for Seconded National experts (SNEs).

Seconded national experts (SNEs) are civil servants from a national, regional or local public administration or an International Governmental Organisation, working temporarily for the Agency and contributing to its work under specific rules. SNEs are seconded to the Agency while remaining employed and paid by their initial employer. As a compensation for the additional costs of living temporarily abroad, SNEs are entitled to daily and monthly subsistence allowances for the duration of their secondment.

The exchange of expertise through SNEs contributes to the development of effective and smooth working relationships between Member States’ administrations and Cedefop. SNEs contribute to the work of Cedefop by sharing with the Agency their unique skills and knowledge for a period of time, and return to their home administration enriched by the experience gained at Cedefop.

The rules on secondments are laid down in the specific Decision on SNEs.

Currently Cedefop does not have open calls for secondments.
