Based on the requirements of the regulatory framework, for applicants to be considered eligible, they must fulfil all the following requirements.

  • Nationality: Be a national of a Member State of the European Union;
  • Citizen rights: Enjoy full rights as a citizen;
  • Military service: Have fulfilled any legal obligations concerning military service;
  • Physical fitness: Be physically fit to perform their duties relating to the post;

  • Qualifications: To be eligible for a specific profile and the related grade, applicants must have the required level of education, as defined in the vacancy notice. Only diplomas that have been awarded in EU Member States or that are the subject of equivalence certificates issued by the authorities in the said Member States shall be taken into consideration. Degrees issued by UK educational institutions before the Brexit are valid and thus no certification of equivalency is needed.
