About New forms of work
The spread of new digital and Industry 4.0 technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), is challenging conventional business models and reshaping the nature of work and learning.
Our work aims to understand how digitalisation and AI are fostering new forms of work (platform, remote or atypical work), and the use of (algorithmic) management practices. We examine their implications for skill development and skill mismatches of EU workers and organisations.
